# Advertise on TapSafely

People come here at a bad moment. A text has arrived that might be real, or money has already gone. They are worried, they are usually on a phone, and they are deciding what to do in the next few minutes. That makes this a serious audience and it is why we are careful about what appears beside them.

This page says what can be bought, what cannot, and who to write to. If you run an affiliate programme or buy media, read it before you email.

## What is never for sale

- **The checker result.** No payment changes a score, a verdict or a red flag. Nobody can pay to have their domain rated safe, and nobody can pay to have a competitor rated unsafe.
- **The reporting directory.** The country-by-country list of police, regulators and official reporting services carries no commercial link and never will.
- **Editorial.** No sponsored guides, no paid placement in any list, no guest posts with links.
- **What you check.** The messages, links and screenshots people submit are never sold, shared or used to target advertising.

## What is available

### Display advertising

**Not running yet.** The site has been live since September 2026 and carries no advertising at all. When it does, units will sit in fixed, labelled positions inside the guides and country pages. The checker, the report form, the reporting directory and the legal pages will stay clear of it.

### Affiliate placement

Possible on [the protection pages](https://tapsafely.com/protect) and at the foot of guides. Every commercial link is marked “Partner” and carries `rel="sponsored"`, exactly as our [affiliate disclosure](https://tapsafely.com/affiliate-disclosure) describes.

Categories that fit this audience: password managers, identity and credit monitoring, data-removal services, scam-call filtering and masked-email services. We will say so plainly if your product does not fit. We already tell readers on </protect> that a VPN does not stop scam texts, calls or fake websites, and we are not going to stop saying it because someone is paying us.

### The free widget

Our [scam-check widget](https://tapsafely.com/widget) is free for anyone to embed: banks, credit unions, councils, universities, community groups. No tracking, no cost, no contract.

## Who reads this

Worldwide, arriving mostly from search at the moment something suspicious has landed, and skewing towards people who are not confident with technology. Current figures for sessions, countries and devices are sent on request, from Search Console and Analytics with the period stated. We do not publish numbers we cannot evidence, and we are a new site: if you need scale today, we are not it yet.

## Who we will not take

No fund-recovery services, no credit-repair, no debt-write-off, no crypto, no binary options, no "we can get your money back" offer of any kind. Those are the exact categories that prey on the people who read this site after being scammed. No lead generation dressed as help. No advertiser who will not name the company behind the product.

## How commercial content is labelled

Display units are labelled “Advertisement”. Affiliate links are marked “Partner” with `rel="sponsored"`. Nothing commercial is styled to look like a checker result or like our own advice. See the [editorial policy](https://tapsafely.com/editorial-policy) and the [affiliate disclosure](https://tapsafely.com/affiliate-disclosure).

## Write to us

Use the [contact form](https://tapsafely.com/contact) and choose “Partnership / advertising”, or email the address listed there. We answer everything, including the refusals, and we will tell you if the fit is poor before you spend anything.

TapSafely is an independent service run by an IT company. We are not a government agency, police force or bank, and we can't investigate cases or recover money.
