From anonymous counts of the checks people run on TapSafely (scam type, risk level and country only) and from community reports that our team has reviewed. We never store the messages or links people check. Why does my country show the watchlist instead of live data? We only show live rankings once enough checks have been run in an area, so a handful of results can't give a misleading picture. Until then you see our editors' watchlist of scams active worldwide. How often is it updated? The rankings update continuously and compare the last seven days with the week before. I've seen a new scam. How do I warn others? Report it on our report page. Once reviewed, it can appear here with phone numbers partly hidden and links disabled. Please also report it to the official service in your country.
