Never trust a call, text or email just because it uses one of these names. Contact the organisation using details you find yourself.

If you've been scammed in France

  1. Forward scam texts free of charge to 33700, or report them at 33700.fr. For a scam call, text "spam vocal" followed by the caller's number to 33700.
  2. Hang up and call your bank back through its usual channels. If your card was used without your consent, you can also report it on Perceval.
  3. Get help 24 hours a day at 17Cyber.gouv.fr, run by the Police nationale, the Gendarmerie nationale and Cybermalveillance.gouv.fr.
  4. If you lost money to an online scam such as a fake shop, a fake buyer or seller, or a romance scam, adults can file a complaint online with THESEE. Have the IBAN you paid to ready.
